The Electronic Travel Authorisation is emailed to you in 3 to 5 business days. Print a copy and carry it to the airport for presentation at Indian immigration on arrival.

For most business visitors, the e-Visa (Business) is the fastest and cheapest route. It is fully online, processed in three to five business days, valid for a year with multiple entries, and allows up to 180 days per stay. Conference Visa applies only to credentialed delegates attending Ministry-notified conference sessions.

First register as a visitor or exhibitor through the official registration forms. Once your business profile is verified by our team, request the invitation letter via the confirmation email you receive. Processing takes two to three business days. The letter is required for Conference Visa applications and recommended for e-Visa Business.

A valid passport with at least six months of validity from your date of arrival, a digital passport-size photo with a white background, a scanned copy of your passport bio page, a credit or debit card for online fee payment, and your invitation letter from the organiser where applicable.

e-Visa: three to five business days entirely online. Business Visa through the consulate: seven to ten business days on average. Conference Visa: four to six weeks due to mandatory Ministry of External Affairs clearance. Always apply at least thirty days before your travel date to absorb any delays.

The e-Visa cannot be extended — you must exit India and re-apply if needed. Business Visa holders can apply for an extension at the local Foreigner Regional Registration Office while in India. Conference Visa is typically tied to the event duration and cannot be extended beyond the stated validity.

Invitation letters alone do not guarantee visa approval, and we cannot intervene in rejected, delayed, or escalated visa applications.

Visitors are strongly advised to begin the visa process at least 30 days before their planned travel date — or 6 weeks in advance for conference visas requiring MEA clearance. Use only the official Government of India portal at indianvisaonline.gov.in or apply through the Indian consulate in your country of residence. The organiser does not recommend using third-party agents or websites claiming affiliation with Agricon HortiConnect 2026 unless explicitly verified through official channels.

Frequently Asked Questions

All foreign nationals travelling to India for the expo require a valid India visa unless they hold an Overseas Citizen of India card or originate from a country with visa-free arrangements. Nationals of Nepal and Bhutan do not require a visa for entry. Everyone else must apply through either the e-Visa portal at indianvisaonline.gov.in or the nearest Indian consulate before travel.

For most visitors attending the exhibition floor and buyer-seller meets, the e-Visa (Business) is the recommended option — fastest, cheapest, and fully online. Delegates attending Ministry of External Affairs-notified conference sessions need a Conference Visa, which requires four to six weeks for clearance. For longer engagements beyond 180 days, a paper Business Visa through the consulate is appropriate.
